There is nothing ‘ordinary’ about an elitist who deems that he/she/it knows what is in YOUR best interests, and not a populist but a petty tyrant. There is nothing ‘ordinary’ about folks who act as automatons and are not in touch with their feelings, thoughts or even realty and not populists but sheep. These people who either are the elitist purveyors of ‘appropriateness’ and their followers are the furthest thing from populism and Americanism that is possible.
